Of all of the exotic in texas in 1988 only the axis outnumbered the black buck. the blackbuck is a member of the antelope family. the permanent horn. the blackbuck ringed turning about 1-5 times. its horns can grow to about 28 inches a trophy blackbuck horns must be 18+ inches. the male uper body is black and the belly is white. the female uper body is light-brown and its lower body is white usually hornless. blackbuck roam in heards of 15-20 animals wiht one dominant male. The lifespan is about 15 years
